The story behind Desi Travellers UK
From a Small Group Chat to 8,000+ Travellers
It all started in 2020, during a time when the world stood still. A group of friends in Birmingham wanted to explore the UK's hidden gems once lockdowns lifted - and that small WhatsApp group became the beginning of something incredible.
What started as casual trips with 10-15 friends quickly grew into a thriving community. Word spread through Instagram, and before we knew it, coaches were full, waiting lists were long, and new friendships were being formed on every trip.
Today, Desi Travellers UK is one of the UK's fastest-growing South Asian travel communities. We've organised 200+ trips, visited 50+ destinations, and brought together thousands of like-minded travellers who share one thing in common - a love for adventure.

The Beginning
Started as a small WhatsApp group of 15 friends wanting to explore the UK after lockdown. First trip: Snowdonia with a hired minibus.
Community Growth
Instagram page launched. Grew to 1,000 followers in 3 months. Upgraded to full-size coaches. 20+ trips completed.
Going National
Expanded pick-up points across UK cities. Hit 3,000+ followers. Introduced weekend overnight trips. Featured in local media.
Major Milestones
